TRACK GUIDE
Formerly home to the All-Ireland Ploughing Championships on three occasions between 1995 and 2002, Ballygogue House, which is located close to Ballacolla, will stage its first point-to-point in February 2026.
A right-handed course, it is described as slightly undulating, with five fences jumped on a circuit - three in the back straight, and two in the home straight, with a slight uphill finish.
BARRY O'NEILL
Ballygogue House held its inaugural meeting in February 2026, when the ground was soft.
It is a lovely right-handed track with a slight uphill finish. It is very fair and straightforward to ride, and I felt it gave every horse a chance.
It is the sort of track where you would expect the best horse to win.
