Rare Deal (IRE)
5yo, B, Mare, Beneficial (GB) – Beechill Dancer (IRE) (Darnay (GB))
Rare Deal was a recent winner at Dromahane on what was her second start between the flags. The daughter of Benefical was running a big race on her debut only to be brought down at the final fence when in third position. Clearly none the worse from that day, the Robert Tyner-trained mare returned to the same fixture later in the month where she was ridden patiently throughout before making steady progress over the final half a mile and kept on well from the final fence to lead close to the line and secure a one length success. A half-sister to two track winners, Rare Deal is a gran-daughter of the talented Listed winning mare, Titled Dancer. Rare Deal highlighted herself as an exciting mare who will be a real addition to any trainer’s yard in mares’ races over the coming seasons.
