Our Bubba is an improving sort, who was fourth on debut behind Envoi Allen and who was subsequently sold for £400,000 at the Cheltenham sales and Appreciate It, who subsequently landed a four-year-old maiden at the second time of asking. Most recently finishing second at Necarne, Our Bubba travelled up close to the pace throughout and while the son of Scorpion could not match the winner from the final fence he ran on gamely where there was a further 10 lengths back to the third placed finisher. This consistent gelding is a half-brother to two track winners and could prove a profitable purchase for his new connections.
