Eoin Staples, brother of point-to-point rider Sean, made his own race-riding debut between the flags at Cork in April 2021 aboard the Richard O'Keeffe-trained Swallows Court. In April 2023 Eoin partnered the Paul Martin Pierce trained Getaway Theatre when winning at the Ratcannon fixture providing Eoin with his first winner.
