Timmy Love is the grandson of Irish National winning trainer Dot Love, and he enjoyed a dream start to his point-to-point racing career, winning aboard Ciaran Murphy's Damut I'm Out at Oldcastle in April 2017 on his very first ride. recorded his first winner on his first ride between the flags when he scored on the Ciaran Murphy-trained Damut I'm Out at Oldcastle on the 16th of April 2017. Five winners during his second season in the saddle, saw him end the campaign in joint-third in the Novice Riders leaderboard, which he now combines with his studies at UCD.
