Eoin O'Brien has finished both the 2016/17 and 2017/18 seasons within the top-10 riders on the sourthern circuit, a region he has featured regularly within since riding his first winner between the flags aboard Flash Bandito at Carrigtwohill in February 2007. A single-season career best of 15-winner was recorded in consecutive years in 2017 and 2018 and again in 2022, whilst he has also recorded one of his biggest track winners to dates in a Listed Bumper at Navan in November 2017. In April 2022, O'Brien reached the 100-winner mark aboard Hipop at Ballyknock.
