This week features part four of the Five From Home series from our Throwback Thursday series. The programme followed four prominent point-to-point families in the 1980’s and 1990’s.
Cecil and Carol Ross featured in part one, then the series travelled to the home of George and Rosemary Stewart, in the previous episode we got a great insight into the legendary P.P. Hogan.
This week presenter Sam McAughtry visits the home of Galway trainer Pauline Gavin from there they travel to the East Galways Hunt point-to-point at Eyrecourt.
There are some great interviews with some of the locals and some of the jockeys speak about their love of the game.
