Over the coming weeks, we will be adding videos to some of the old point-to-point fixtures that we have on file.  The next year we are adding videos from is the 2003 season.

The Louth Foxhounds point-to-point fixture at Tallanstown is the next meeting to be added to our video archives.

Below is a re-cap of what happened on the day.

The Margie McLoone owned Bengari took the opening confined hunt race at the Louth Foxhounds fixture at Tallanstown in the hands of Patrick Casey.

The five and six-year-old geldings maiden was claimed by Lord Hawthorn in the hands of J D Moore.

Stephen Magee made it a pillar to post victory in the open lightweight when scoring aboard Grangewood King.

The winners of one contest was won by Lord Rockfield in the hands of Rory Lavery.

The five-year-old and upwards mares maiden was won in good fashion by Jurado Maid under the guidance of Andrew Lynch.

It was a local success in the concluding seven-year-old and upwards maiden with Donal Kinsella’s, Pancho Villa running out an easy victory in the hands of J D Moore.
