The Iveagh Hunt held there April point-to-point fixture on a Tuesday in 2002. The opening racing, the confined hunt race was won in good style by Joint Authority in the hands of Leo Gracey.
Brian Hamilton enjoyed a good afternoon when recording a treble on the day, his first winner of the day came courtesy of Longshanks who stayed on best to land the five-year-old geldings maiden.
Go Go Gallant supplied Hamilton with his second winner of the afternoon when winning the open lightweight.
Hamilton completed his treble in style when winning the six and seven-year-old mares maiden aboard Kilcarroll Lady by 20 lengths.
Sporting Heart ran out a 12-length victory of the eight-year-old and upwards maiden with Jim Keeling in the saddle.
Division two of the eight-year-old and upwards maiden saw Phar Quicker and Tommy Peoples come home in front when defeating Nearly Nobel by half a length.
The concluding race of the day, the adjacent hunt race was won in good fashion by Double Impact and Aaron Stronge.
