Liscarroll point-to-point will hold their annual fixture on Sunday 24th March. Last year it was a very special day for the point-to-point committee as they hosted the President of Ireland Michael D. Higgins.
It was a very special day for the community who work very hard each year to ensure that their meeting is a success.
This year, the hard-working committee will host RTE’s Nationwide who have confirmed they will be attending the infamous fixture. Mary Kennedy and all of her crew will be in attendance for the day hoping to spot the next future star.
The track itself has produced some top class individuals such as Gold Cup winner Denman, Articulum who ran a blinder to finish third in this years Arkle at the Cheltenham festival and all eyes will be on Lisgnagar Oscar who is entered for the Albert Bartlett on Friday.
Entries for this meeting close on Tuesday 19th March at 12 noon.
