Video Archives | Loughanmore 2003

Over the coming weeks, we will be adding videos to some of the old point-to-point fixtures that we have on file.  The next year we are adding videos from is the 2003 season.

The next meeting to be added to the archives is day two of the East Antrim Hunts Easter point-to-point fixture at Loughanmore.

Below is a re-cap of what happened on the day.

The opening race on day two at Loughanmore, the confined hunt winners of two was won in good style by Mourne Beau and Robert Patton.

Sonny Liston and Paul Cosgrave landed the winner of one contest when running out a two length victory over Jewel Note.

Promalee and Brian Hamilton were impressive winners of the open lightweight when coming home in front by a distance in the colours of Seamus O’Farrell for handler James Lambe.

Brian Hamilton recorded a quick double when winning the four and five-year-old geldings maiden aboard Melmount Star.

Marrasit ran out an easy winner of the mares winners of two contest in the hands of Paul Cosgrave.

The concluding race of the day, the six-year-old and upwards maiden was won by Top Of The Town and Derek O’Connor.
