Video Archives | Farmacaffley 2003

Over the coming weeks, we will be adding videos to some of the old point-to-point fixtures that we have on file.  The next year we are adding videos from is the 2003 season.

The Tynan and Armagh meeting at Farmacaffley is the latest fixture to be added to our video archives.

Below is a re-cap of what happened on the day.

The Faloorie Man and Gordon Elliott took the opening confined hunt maiden at Farmacaffley.  The son of Mandalus showed admirable battling qualities when staying on well in the closing stages to keep Eglish at bay.

The five and six-year-old geldings maiden was won by Rory Lavery and Ross Leader.

The Enniskillen College owned gelding Bluefire added win to his tally when winning the open lightweight in the hands of Tommy Peoples.

Brian Hamilton was on the scoresheet when winning the opening division of the five, six and seven-year-old mares maiden aboard Super Lucky.

Glenogue and Robert Patton were impressive winners of the five, six and seven-year-old mares maiden when coming home in front by 10-lengths.

The winners of two contest was claimed by Huncheon Paddy in the hands of William Rankin.

The concluding race of the day, the seven and eight-year-old geldings maiden saw Graham McKeevers charge Philson Run come in front under Robert Widger.
