Video Archives | Comber 2003

Over the coming weeks, we will be adding videos to some of the old point-to-point fixtures that we have on file.  The next year we are adding videos from is the 2003 season.

The North Down Foxhounds meeting at Comber is the latest fixture to be added to our video archives.

Below is a re-cap of what happened on the day.

The opening race of the North Down Foxhounds point-to-point at Comber, the winners of two for novice riders was won by Portawaud in the hands of Bobby McNally.

False Tail
and John Thomas McNamara took the open lightweight in good fashion when running out an easy four length victory over Lobbingalong.

Aaron Stronge entered the winners enclosure after claiming the five-year-old maiden aboard Rachael Rose.

Division two of the five-year-old maiden was won by The Grey Central in the hands of Colleen Letters.

County Clare based jockey Brian Hassett made the long journey all worthwhile when landing the six-year-old maiden aboard Philson-Warrior.

The six-year-old and upwards mares maiden saw an impressive in Supreme Rullah, after she ran out an easy victory in the hands of Willie Rankin.

William Rankin registered a quick double on the day when taking the following seven-year-old and upwards geldings maiden in good style aboard Ballybeau.

The concluding race of the day, division two of the seven-year-old and upwards maiden went the way of Harmony Hill under Leo Gracey.
