Race 1: Winners Enclosure Bookmakers 4yo Maiden

Donnchadh Doyle and Colin Bowe, who both have their string of young horses in top form at present, are well represented in this with Doyle possibly relying on his Loughrea second, ONTHEFRONTFOOT, to continue his good run of form. Northern challenger Braeside took a big step forward when reappearing at Toomebridge on the opening day of the season when only going down by a head, and he will be primed for this following that reappearance. Brandy Cross, Highate Hill and Eglantino Kauto are others for the shortlist.

Race 2: Goffs UK Autumn P2P Sale 5yo Geldings Maiden

GAYE BREEZE switched yards during the summer, and produced a career best on his first outing for the Declan Queally team when finishing a close second at Castletown-Geoghegan a fortnight ago. He has every right to go one place better here. Oscar Academy is another horse with recent race fitness on his side, and if he could get back to some of his spring form, he would certainly hold chances in a race like this.

Race 3: Mares Winner Of One

The first two horses home in the opening mares maiden of the season at Toomebridge could be set to re-oppose here. OSCAR LIGHT got the better of The Crafty Touch on that occasion, and whilst preference has to be given to the former, it would be no surprise to see The Crafty Touch get closer, having made a crucial mistake in that race. Lough Derg Rose was a very easy winner and comes into the race unexposed, having won her only outing to date at Loughanmore, whilst Summons To Court simply destroyed her opposition at Moira last Saturday and represents local connections.

Race 4: ITM Ladies Open

Samanntom won this race last year, but it could be a stronger renewal if the likes of After Eight Sivola and EDDIES MIRACLE, were to line up in opposition. The latter is one of the top open horses around on the circuit when at his best, and will be expected to improve for his reappearance at Moira last Saturday. Of the others, Kelsey won three British opens for Mikey Bowen and has switched yards over the summer, whilst another stable debutant is track recruit Empresario, who has won seven times in all.

Race 5: 5yo Mares Maiden

KIERA ROYALE took on geldings in what has been one of the strongest older maidens run so far this season at Castletown, going down by just three lengths to another capable track recruit. Back amongst her own sex, this seven-year-old, who has a track mark of 100 over fences, sets the standard. Maliboo has obvious chances on her run at Lisronagh, and will look to bounce back from a fall at Toomebridge recently on what was her first run for Denis Murphy, whilst All The Way West put in her best run to date at Dromahane last time out and it will be interesting to see how she follows up here.

Race 6: 6yo Geldings Maiden

Local trainer Philip Rothwell and owners Tom Power and Annette Lawlor were among the winners at Moira last Saturday with Quill Road, and they will be entitled to have high hopes of further success in the finale here with ASK ROAD. He finished a very strong third behind two highly rated track performers, and will be strongly fancied for this. Brindacier Fatal understandably weakened at Toomebridge on his return from a long absence, and so an improved showing can be expected, whilst No More Monkeys was third at Downpatrick on his penultimate start and represents local connections.
