(i) The number of declared runners shall be reduced by first balloting those horses that have not won a Point-to-Point steeplechase since 8th October, 2017. (ii) The number of horses declared will be then reduced by balloting those horses that have not won more than one Point-ToPoint steeplechase since 8th October, 2017. (iii) In the event of Paragraphs (i) and (ii) not achieving the recommended limit a random ballot will then be applied to the remaining horses.
