The Tattersalls Ireland February sale is the first auction in the Cheltenham sales ring in 2018, and interest will be as this was the sale which 12 months ago was responsible for selling the most expensive point-to-pointer at public auction.
Flemenshill was the horse in question who changed hands for £480,000 after winning one of the first four-year-old maidens of the 2017 spring season, and the early four-year-old’s are sure to feature prominently again at this year’s sale.
