Rathbarry & Glenview Studs are delighted to announce the acquisition of an exciting new stallion prospect KARPINO (GER) from Qatar Racing. KARPINO is to join their existing National Hunt stallions MALINAS, ROBIN DES CHAMPS, SHIROCCO & SHOLOKHOV at Glenview Stud for 2018.
KARPINO by Cape Cross X Kahara by Sadler’s Wells was unbeaten at 2 years and won the Gr. 2 Mehl-Mulhens Rennen (2000 Guineas) and Gr.3 Rennen Preis der SWK Dr Busch Memorial from only three starts at 3 years.
KARPINO boasts a stallion’s pedigree as his dam Kahara is a black type full sister to Milan and is from the immediate family of successful sire Khayasi.
