Ificudiwud (IRE)
5yo, B, Geld, Trans Island (GB) – Manucrin (GB) (Zafonic (USA))
Ificudiwud made his point-to-point debut a winning one when he took his five-year-old geldings’ maiden at Dromahane in May. The son of Trans Island was ridden in mid-division before progressing to lead from the penultimate fence where he soon quickened clear of his rivals to seal a three length success. One of three newcomers in the race, Ificudiwould is a half-brother to a three-time track winner as well as being from a strong flat family which includes Group one winner Desert Prince and given the speed and stamina he showed on his initial start he looks like a gelding that can develop into a smart track performer that will have an exciting future inside the rails.
