Cage of Fear produced a very encouraging run on debut when finishing second behind what looks like a well above average sort in Lecale's Article at Largy in April. Waited with for most of the contest, the debutant made good headway into fifth at the penultimate fence and kept on well to finish two-and-a-half lengths ahead of the third place finisher. The son of Milan is a half-brother to the three-times winner and Grade one placed, Gilt Shadow as well as being out of an own sister to the former Listed winner Ounavarra Creek. Cage of Fear is bred to be an exciting prospect who will not be waiting long to enter the winners enclosure.
