Buck’s Bin ran a cracker when second on his debut at Dromahane behind the exciting Longhouse Sale. The son of Khalkevi was ridden prominently behind the leaders where he progressed to lead before the third last fence and travelled well in front only to be headed on the run-in by the fast finishing winner. One of seven newcomers in the race, the son of Khalkevi is from a high class family which includes the former eight-time Grade one winner, Big Bucks as well as Buck’s Dream and Buck’s Bank to name just a few. Having clearly enjoyed the good ground conditions, the eye-catching runner-up lost little in defeat and is a very likeable youngster who looks set to further add to this winning family.
