Annie Mc heads to the sales following two decent runs in competitive four-year-old mares’ maidens this spring. The daughter of Mahler made her debut at Dromahane in April and posted an encouraging display to finish runner-up to the impressive Honeysuckle. The Sean Doyle-trained mare then lined-up for a similar contest at Bartlemy in May and travelled well throughout where she led for much of the race before being headed at the third last fence where she kept on gamely in the home straight to finish runner-up to Silver Forever. Out of a half-sister to the high class dual Grade one winner, Princeful, Annie Mc is a well bred mare and will surely not be waiting long to enter the winners enclosure and further add to this winning family.
