Backintheoldtimes made a promising debut at Lisronagh in October when finishing fourth to Lust For Glory. The daughter of Olden Times was then out of luck at Dromahane on her next start having unseated her rider at the penultimate fence when in fifth position. Backintheoldtimes enjoyed better luck on her latest start at Ballysteen in April when she took the five-year-old-and-upwards mares’ maiden. Prominently ridden throughout, Backintheoldtimes progressed to lead before the final fence where she quickly asserted clear of her rivals to win by a comfortable six lengths. This improving mare is from the family of the talented dual Listed winning mare Bean Alainn and is bred to develop into a smart sort on the track that could prove a profitable purchase for her new connections.
