One More Fleurie (IRE)

One More Fleurie ran a cracker when second on his debut in a four-year-old maiden at Taylorstown. The James Doyle-trained gelding was never too far from the pace throughout and tracked the leader approaching the third last fence before disputing the lead at the final fence where he appeared to hold every chance. Locked in a battle to the line, One More Fleurie showed a game attitude and just lost out by one and a half lengths. Having posted such a strong run, this son of Mustameet lost little in defeat and is a very likeable youngster with a lot to offer it seems.
