Madera Express is being offered for sale following a hugely promising debut effort in a competitive mares’ maiden at Moira in December. The daughter of Milan raced in mid-division for much of the race before making up ground on the final circuit where she stayed on well and was a fast finishing third, just two lengths behind the progressive winner, Good Auld Times. Out of a half-sister to the talented Minella For Value, Madera Express is also from the family of the high class performers El-Sid Senor, Galevilla Express and Canute Express. This eye-catching mare gave a very positive account of herself and having shown these encouraging signs on debut, she will be a real addition to any trainer’s yard in mares’ races over the coming seasons.
