Presented Well was posting a strong debut display at Kirkistown in November when exiting at the third last fence. The son of Oscar stepped up from that effort to run another cracker at Moira in December to finish second in a strong maiden in what were testing conditions. Ridden behind the leaders for much of the race, the Warren Ewing-trained gelding made good headway from the third last and posted a strong challenge at the final fence where he showed a likeable attitude to battle strongly in the closing stages to just finish a neck behind the winner. Presented Well is from the family of the Grade two winner in Well Presented. Having posted two strong runs to date, this good-looking gelding lost little in defeat and is a very likeable youngster with a lot to offer it seems.
